Midnight Melt
Grilled Cheese After Dark
Brand Identity / UI Design / Brand Applications
Midnight Melt is my concept for an art-inspired, late-night grilled cheese food truck in downtown Norfolk, near Selden Market. I built the identity and digital menu around bold type, warm nighttime energy, and sandwiches named after artists.
01 / Project overview
Art meets comfort food.
The Picasso, The Haring, The Kahlo, The Wiley, and The Warhol give the menu its art connection. I wanted the brand to feel expressive and a little unexpected, while keeping the food and menu easy to find.
02 / Creative direction
Inspired by art. Made for after dark.
I paired bold retro type with warm colors and grainy nighttime imagery. The sandwich icon and repeating pattern connect the identity across the menu, packaging, and merchandise.

04 / Brand applications
Bringing Midnight Melt to life.
I extended the logo, colors, and sandwich pattern across packaging, business cards, staff apparel, and merchandise.
05 / Reflection
Keeping the brand connected.
This project brought together my interests in art, typography, and food. I explored how one identity could stay recognizable across digital layouts and physical materials.
